Opening Day '99
SLIDESHOW:Clear skies but blustery winds (30-40 knot gusts) proved too much for the resilient but not unsinkable R/C Golden Bear. At 18" long she heeled-over multiple times until her main compartment was completely flooded and so went down in 10 feet of water... 1st Engineer Matt responded by hoisting the offical nautical flag of mourning.
