The same winds which produced so much chop in the Strait of Georgia proved ideal for kite-flying back in the safe recesses of Nanaimo Harbor. Here amid the capsizing sailboats of the local junior sailing team, we managed to launch our kite for several short, but highly aerobatic stints in the air off the stern of the Viking.
