Approaching the Flotilla
The Rendez-vous: Bellingham Harbor
For days Capt. Jeff had been tracking the movement of this flotilla on the return leg of its annual voyage to Alaskan waters. Heavy seas had prevented us from meeting-up with it at the North end of the Strait of Georgia two days before.
Much of the good Captain's nautical experience was gained abord this very ship in over a decade of service, and he was eager to catch up with his old crewmates who had been abord since March.
